ABOUT

The mission of Women Manifest is to:

  • Celebrate and make visible the accomplishments of women in West Hollywood and Greater Los Angeles
  • Create community and a month long calendar of Women Manifest events throughout the city
  • Empower women and girls

Women Manifest will include a diverse group of women and perspectives, especially women in marginalized communities and transwomen, in a community dialogue. We aim to celebrate women in West Hollywood and Greater Los Angeles. The Women Manifest events will address a broad range of topics including Politics, Film, Theater, Dance, Art, Music, Literature, Poetry, Comedy, Television, Spirituality, Change, Choice, Business, Health, Wellness, Ritual, Families, Education, Technology, and Science. We hope to inspire galleries, bookstores, yoga studios, schools and other businesses to create their own events throughout the month that highlight what Women Manifest

A portion of ticket sales for the opening ceremonies and events through out the month, will cover production cost, retain a start-up budget for next year, and fund One Billion Rising, a global campaign to end violence against women and girls.

We look forward to this new series of events and hope you will join us in this worthy cause!
